Anna Turvoll

Anna leads Völur as CEO, driving the company’s mission to transform the meat industry through AI-powered optimization. With deep experience scaling technology startups and a background in finance and sustainability, she brings a strategic focus to growth, operational excellence, and long-term impact.

Prior to joining Völur, Anna held leadership roles across high-growth ventures and global institutions, including Goldman Sachs. Her expertise spans capital raising, international expansion, and sustainable innovation.

Chief Executive Officer & Chairman

Michael Farrand

Michael Farrand serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Völur, bringing over 30 years of experience in the food and agriculture sector. His extensive background encompasses sales, management, strategy, and mergers and acquisitions within the consumer goods industry. Michael has a proven track record of implementing SaaS solutions, which aligns with his role lead focusing on expanding Völur’s market presence and forging strategic partnerships to drive growth and sustainability in the meat processing industry.

Prior to joining Völur, Michael held leadership roles that leveraged his expertise in commercial strategy and business development. He has served on the boards of organizations such as International Dairy Deli Bakery Assn (IDDBA), Shore Boards, Inc., The Hormel Historic Home, and Northern Waters Environmental School Inc.

Chief Commercial Officer

Adrián Díaz is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Völur, where he leads product strategy, design, and development for the company’s AI-powered optimization platform. With a deep background in robotics, systems engineering, and applied AI, Adrián has been instrumental in translating complex industry challenges into scalable, intelligent solutions for the meat and food processing sector.

Prior to co-founding Völur, he worked with aviation and manufacturing startups, where he developed cutting-edge software systems in collaboration with major industry players. Adrián holds an MSc in Robot Systems Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark. At Völur, he combines his technical acumen and product vision to drive innovation and create measurable impact for customers across the value chain.

David's expertise lies in creating scalable AI architectures that address complex industrial challenges. His work at Völur focuses on leveraging data-driven models to improve efficiency and sustainability in meat production, ensuring optimal utilization of resources across the value chain.

Engebreth Færden is the Vice President of Business Development & Finance at Völur, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic direction and financial planning. Joining as the first commercial hire in 2021, Engebreth has been instrumental in expanding Völur's market presence and forging key partnerships within the meat industry.

Prior to his tenure at Völur, Engebreth accumulated valuable experience as a management consultant and as an analyst at Clarksons Platou, a leading investment bank specializing in shipping and offshore markets. His international background includes four years of study and collegiate football in the United States, a master's degree from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, and professional experience in Brazil.

At Völur, Engebreth leverages his multidisciplinary expertise to drive growth initiatives and optimize financial operations, contributing to the company's mission of revolutionizing the meat industry through AI-driven solutions.
